Reiki Training for Profoundly Deaf People
Reiki is inclusive and anyone can learn it. The beauty of those in the deaf community learning Reiki is that deaf clients can attend Reiki sessions on their own so no interpreter needed.
Although I am not deaf myself, I can teach you Reiki if you bring an interpreter with you. I recently taught a deaf lady in this way, it went very well, she is now a competent Level 2 Reiki practitioner. If you are deaf, and would like a Reiki session with her then I can put you in touch. If you would like to learn Reiki, I am happy to teach you, the interpreter my client used was great and would be happy to do it again for others if you do not have a regular translator.
Testimonial:
“I learnt level 1 and level 2 Reiki with Cindy and she was a lovely soul and offered a warm welcome too. I’m profoundly deaf which means I cannot hear a thing and a British Sign Language (BSL) user which means I needed extra time to translate. She was flexible and allowed the time to get through the training. She let me bring my own BSL interpreter with me to translate between us. Her homemade soup and bread was gorgeous (lunch is always provided!). She is a beautiful soul, and vibe as well, especially a great teacher! Highly recommend! Thank you Cindy!”.
